So I was wondering if insurgency missions worked on maps such as Chernarus, where a lot of the buildings do not have interiors etc. Does this affect things like CQB and installations?

Yeah it will. Civ spawns too. I probably wouldn’t bother and just keep Chernarus for conventional ops instead. Guess you could try my Chernarus Redux Index (a few posts down) and use that instead since most buildings I think are open, but I’d expect AI having a hard time navigating all that clutter. The map is awesome though so worth a try I guess if Chernarus is a must.

Thanks for the reply. In that case, are there any other maps that are ALiVE friendly that have a forest/woodland setting with accessible buildings?

Forest? Hard to say or how you’d classify that. Song Bin Tanh seems cool for an insurgency. Guess that might be more of a rain forest than something with a Russian vibe though. I’m sure there are others just nothing comes to mind. If I think of any I’ll let you know.
